Planning and Zoning
Use of land is traditionally controlled through the separation of land into various use areas, called zoning districts. The rules governing these districts are contained in a zoning ordinance which includes provisions controlling the type and intensity of
development allowed. Zoning Administration is responsible for development reviews and enforcement of the Township codes and zoning ordinances. Persons interested in submitting a zoning compliance permit, site plan, site condominium, lot splits or proposing a rezoning or Zoning Ordinance text amendment should contact the Zoning administrator.
Inspections are scheduled between 9:30 am - 10:30 am and 4:00 pm to 4:30 pm from Mon to Thu. Please complete the inspection request online. The Zoning administrator will contact you to confirm the date and time.
To schedule an appointment prior to submitting an application or for general input, please call 734-426-5103 or e-mail the zoning administrator at firstname.lastname@example.org
